British 3rd East Kent Regiment

A BRITISH VICTORIAN TO EDWARDIAN ERA COLONEL'S UNIFORM FOR THE 3RD EAST KENT REGIMENT "THE BUFFS". Black wool covered Home Service helmet with brass spike with cruciform base, trim and chin chain. Obverse with a brass and silver regimental plate. Interior maker marked and with leather sweatband. Red wool tunic has buff collar, cuffs and piping trimmed in gold braid with silvered regimental collar insignia, and gold cord shoulder boards with rank insignia. Complete with gold and crimson brocade belt with gilt and silver buckle, matching brocade sash with tassels and a gold mixed crimson cord aiguillette with gold points.
